Linpus to showcase one of the 1st MeeGo™-based products at Computex

Linpus adds better power management and social networking support through Linpus Lite for MeeGo™

Taipei, Taiwan, Computex, June 1st – 5th 2010 – Linpus, a leader in the field of open source operating system solutions in the consumer space, announced today a Meego-based version of its Linpus Linux Lite, which is optimized for the Intel® Atom™ processor. Linpus Lite is its highly successful netbook product specially designed to deliver a better mobile Internet and netbook experience.

“Linpus is excited to be involved in the MeeGo project,” said Rita Jing, vice-president of sales, Linpus. “The combination of the Moblin and Maemo projects into MeeGo clearly creates a more powerful, flexible open source community and platform.
